Welcome back. Below you will find the literacy and Maths for this week. You will also find the link to the topic based activites for this week. We will be adding some spellings to each week - look out for these soon!
Today we are looking at dividing a 2 digitnumber by 10. Remember to think about your place value and how the numbers move to the right.
This week we are going to link with our topic and look at explanation texts.
Today's lesson is a recap over hundredths.
Wallace and Gromit have a fantastic series called cracking contraptions. Today you are going to watch one of these and write an explanation as to how the ‘Soccomatic’ works
Moving on to writing hundredths as decimals
This session will help you to recognise how to write decimals when they are represented on a place value chart.
Read the example and have a go at designing your very own invention to make your life easier
Today we are looking a dviding 1 and 2 digit numbers by 100.
Today you will be writing about your design. Remember to include an introduction explaining what your machine does as well as step by step explanation.
To add detail to your explanation, you may include adverbs to say how various things are done, for example the wheel turns slowly.
