What is the Senior Leadership Team?

The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in a primary school is responsible for the strategic direction, management and overall leadership of the school. They work together to ensure high standards of education, effective teaching and smooth day-to-day operations. At St. Johns, the SLT consists of the headteacher and two deputy headteachers, who collaboratively guide the school’s vision, support staff and maintain a positive learning environment for all students.

Our SLT (joined by our Pastoral Lead) are also responsible for safeguarding in school:
